Please, please help me to make sense of these claims. They are prosecuting the killers of a murderer and torturer Moammar Gadhafi.
What justice is there?
The National Transitional Council should think carefully about this fiasco, they causing.
The constitution rights should be questioned and interpreted correctly.
What about the rights of those that were killed and tortured by Moammar Gadhafi, including the families of 270 killed on the Pan Am Airliner by al-Megrahi, which he acted on instructions from Gadhafii, and numerous other killings and torturing going back a decade?
As per a journalist a humans rights group investigated charges of the June 1996 massacre at the Abu Salim's prison, when a guard spoke out concerning the shooting by guards of most of the inmates protesting their treatment in the prison. For more than a decade, families of those killed were barred from visiting or learning more about the shootings, but reports began to emerge when a guard spoke out, causing human rights groups to investigate the charges.
The NTC must ask all the families of the unjustly killed or tortured, if they feel anger against the killer/s of Moammar Gadhafi or relieved?!..
Obviously no one at the NTC has families that were killed or tortured by the Gadhafi regime.
NTC please explain how would you deal with Moammar Gadhafi, if he had been captured and handed over to Hague?!
Would he just be slapped with a a prison sentence, or, hanged like Suddan Hussaim?!
If he had only given a prison sentence, most of the people in Libya, Scotland and others would have felt betrayed by the justice system, but if had been given a death sentence, he would have ended up the same way, only with less money and time spent on court cases.
It is the way he was killed that is causing an up rise?! the Gadhafi family are distraught , and want it investigated.
What is the Law Concerning Crime in the Islam Khoran? Is it or not, if you kill by the sword you must die by the sword?!...
I rest my case.
Libyan rebels check bodies they found in a mass grave of rebel fighters killed by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi in Om El Qandil, 90 kilometres west of Ras Lanuf, on Sept. 3. The Red Cross said Wednesday that 13 mass graves were also found at two other Libyansites. (Esam Al-Fetori/Reuters)
