Portugal with fewer Catholics and most Protestants

Portugal with fewer Catholics and most Protestantsby DN.ptHoje

Monday, 16 April 2012News From Porto-less Catholic and more Protestante.

Today I read an interesting article, I will give my opinion. As I said, it is my opinion.
 I would  appreciate  your views

There are fewer Catholics in Portugal and increasingly Protestant / Evangelical and Jehovah's Witnesses, according to a study by the Center for the Study of Religions and Cultures of the Portuguese Catholic University."You can observe a relative decrease of the population declares itself Catholic and an increase in the percentage relative to other positions of religious affiliation with a particular emphasis on the Protestant universe (including evangelicals)," the report's interpretive "Survey 2011 "comparing 1999 data with another survey at the end of last year. The study, which aims to understand how the Portuguese are located to the religious phenomenon, reveals that over the past eleven years, Catholics decreased 7.4 percent (%), from 86.9 to 79.5% of the population %.Unlike the declining trend of Catholics has doubled the percentage of people with a different religion than the Catholic (2.7% in 1999 to 5.7%) and increased the number of people with no religion (8.2% for 14, 2%) felt that an increase in all categories: the indifferent increased from 1.7 to 3.2, the 1.7 to 2.2 agnostics and atheists from 2.7% to 4, 1%.Among the population believing in religion, the vast majority continues to be Catholic, but has reduced its weight: at the end of the last century represented almost the totality of believers at 97%, while this group now represents 93.3%.The survey shows an increase of Protestant / evangelical (which increased from 0.3% to 2.8%) and Jehovah's Witnesses, which in 1999 accounted for one percent and are now 1.5%. The "other Christians" also increased one tenth (1.5% to 1.6%) as well as those belonging to non-Christian religions (they were 0.2 and are now0.8%).

My view is:

Jesus is the church, not religion.
Jesus hated and hates religion.

See the article below, which  I agree with.

Jesus did not invent a religion
True worshipers will worship the Father in spirit and in truth, because the Father is Spirit.
Jesus Christ.

There are people who believe that Christianity was instituted by Jesus Christ. Others claim it was the Apostle Paul. I believe that neither Jesus or any apostle, who conceived of the history of the West tried to Christianity. I believe that Jesus did not leave us a New Religion, consequential or alternative to Judaism, but that he ended up completely with all religions.
In Jesus there is no religion, nor Christianity, nor any other. There is only the Gospel as a message and life as an existential experience, conscience, perception and action. No religion, no dogma, no rituals, no worship, no priesthood, no temple, without any sacred objects, places, people, days, holidays.
What is the Gospel message is that as good news that God is reconciling the whole universe, which was affected by the chaos of human rebellion, through Jesus Christ, and that whosoever believeth in Him, and thus believes is transformed inwardly
through the action of his Spirit, becoming like God in redemptive actions on earth, awaiting the time when everything will be fully redeemed for eternity.

Noticias Do Porto- Menos Católicos e Mais Protestantes.

Hoje eu li em um artigo muito interessante, vou dar minha opinião . Como eu digo é
a minha opinião.

Ill health a new way to get away with murder, excuse the pun

Seems Mr Schabir  Shaik’s illness to get away from serving his sentence has started a precedent.
1st    Excuse of illness for  wrongdoers.
Let us  go back to the news on the 24th March and “Quote”
Just how sick is Schabir Shaik?
By Pieter Van Zyl Thursday 24 March 2011
"FIRST he was behind bars, then deathly ill in a prison hospital. He was "dying" at home and a few months later he was looking for trouble on the golf course. Then he was back in the prison hospital, still just as sick, and now he's back home so that, as was declared at the time of his first release, he can "die in peace".  "
For a person that was on death doors, his recovery was nothing less than a huge miracle.
His Doctor must have a special formula that cured Schabir Shaik in an click of a finger. He (Dr) must be forced to divulge the breakthrough to the medical science as to give others the same chance to live a longer life
Seems money, power and celebrities can buy their way out from any wrong doings.
Shrien and Anni Dewani
2nd Mr Shrien Dewani is not well enough to be extradited to South Africa, wait for this.....he is too ill. How a young healthy man became so ill. he can not get on a plane from England to South Africa?

Image Title
Mr Malema should stop indulging in cake and JC Le Roux
3rd Mr Malema was unable to attend his disciplinary ….. tarah, tarah! He was in hospital with flu. Come on?!.... a healthy youth leader and he ends up in hospital with flu?!  He must be a mommy’s powder puff.
The most irritating thing is they think we are idiots.
Does Mr Malema look as if a case of flu would see him  admitted to hospital?!..
Can we please have a Doctors report to describe how serious Mr Malema  flu was he diagnosed with?
4th  Now is Mr Selebi?!.. From Top Cop to a crook!..
. He e did  not even sit in prison for a week, and  is already in a hospital, so very ill. His lawyer already stating Mr Malema is very ill health to get him away from serving his sentence?!..His Doctor is God, already made a report that Mr Selebi is  will be unable to leave the hospital!. What a joke! First he had a stroke, now its kidney failure?!.Any volunteers to give him a kidney?!...Maybe  Glen Agliotti will offer him one of his?!..

Let us now go back to the news published on the 2011/12/05 where it states he is partially paralysed.

THE POLITICAL WEEK AHE AD: All eyes on health of Selebi and parastatals
Published: 2011/12/05 06:39:01 AM
"NEWS about Jackie Selebi’s fall from grace will kick off the political week, with attention on whether he will indeed report for the beginning of his 15-year jail sentence on Monday.
Selebi, the former police commissioner who lost his appeal to overturn a corruption conviction and sentence, was admitted to Pretoria’s Jakaranda Hospital at the weekend. He reportedly collapsed on Friday after hearing that his Supreme Court of Appeal application failed, giving him 48 hours to report to the Johannesburg Correctional Centre.
Weekend reports stated he was partially paralysed. There is bound to be public interest in his health, considering claims of terminal illness saved another high-profile criminal, Schabir Shaik, from serving his full prison sentence."

Can we please have photos, or will committee members of the Community Police Forums be allowed to pay Mr Selebi a visit to establish how true these facts are?!
His photo in the paper does not look as if he is seriously ill.

I bet you if I had to commit any kind of crime as small as it might be, and have cancer or even worse, they would leave me to die, why?! Because I am not an ANC member or a celebrity
Those same people especially Mr Shaik and Selebe should be an example to the people of South Africa, especially our youth, which will be our future rulers.

Shame cry baby! He is not crying with remorse, he is crying because he was found
guilty." Damn, how can these  Judges find  me the guilty and sentence me to 15 years?!  Bloody fascists".
Be a man and serve your sentence!

Happy Christmas VS Happy Holidays

I am sharing this video as I feel VERY STRONG about my feelings concerning Christmas.

It disturbs me immensely when the news and radio stations in South Africa refuse  to  say Merry/ Happy Christmas instead saying Happy Holidays, to be politicly correct towards other religions and cultures?!..

Most big firms do not even put up a Christmas Tree at reception so not to offend other religions once again?!..... It is about time we Christians in S.A Stand Up and Be Counted

.We Christians have a constitutional right to celebrate the birth of Our Saviour Jesus Christ. This is not India,China, Pakistan, etc..yet these religions are allowed to come to work in their saris, punjabis & white robes, what if it offends us Christians? Why are in S.A other religions are allowed to say Happy Diwali, Happy Eid, Rosh Hashanah?!.... We want Christmas Trees at work places, it is our right

Our Year End Parties used to be called, Christmas lunches and Christmas parties, now it is Year End Lunch!..Year End Parties?!... Please give us Christians a break.

HAPPY
CHRISTMAS
EVERYONE!...
Do hear the whole song and read the Lyrics

Libya Vows to Prosecute Gadhafi Killer ?!.... What A Joke

Please, please help me to make sense of these claims. They are prosecuting the killers of   a murderer and torturer  Moammar Gadhafi.
What justice is there?
The National Transitional Council should think carefully about this fiasco, they causing.
The constitution rights should be questioned and interpreted correctly.

What about the rights of those that were killed and tortured by Moammar Gadhafi, including the families of 270 killed on the Pan Am Airliner by  al-Megrahi,  which he  acted on instructions from Gadhafii, and numerous other killings and torturing going back a decade?
As per a journalist a humans rights group investigated charges of  the  June 1996  massacre  at the Abu Salim's prison, when  a guard spoke out concerning the shooting by guards of  most of the inmates protesting their treatment in the prison. For more than a decade, families of those killed were barred from visiting or learning more about the shootings, but reports began to emerge when a guard spoke out, causing human rights groups to investigate the charges.
Alleged mass grave found near the Rixos hotel in Tripoli, Libya
The NTC must ask all the families of the unjustly killed or tortured, if they feel anger against  the killer/s of Moammar Gadhafi or relieved?!..
Obviously no one at the NTC  has families that were killed or tortured by the Gadhafi regime.

NTC please explain how would you deal with Moammar Gadhafi, if he had been captured and handed over to Hague?!

Would he just be slapped with a a prison sentence, or, hanged like Suddan Hussaim?!
If he had only given a prison sentence, most of the people in Libya, Scotland and others would have felt betrayed by the justice system, but if had been given  a death sentence, he would have ended up the same way, only with less money and time spent on court cases.

It is the way he was killed that is causing an up rise?! the Gadhafi family are distraught , and want it investigated.
What is the Law Concerning Crime in the Islam Khoran? Is it or not,  if you kill by the sword you must die by the sword?!...

I rest my case.
Libyan rebels check bodies they found in a mass grave of rebel fighters killed by forces loyal to Moammar Gadhafi in Om El Qandil, 90 kilometres west of Ras Lanuf, on Sept. 3. The Red Cross said Wednesday that 13 mass graves were also found at two other Libyan sites.

The Herald SaysWallabies' referee Bryce Lawrence admits key blunders

.
The South African Team did not play against Australia; they played against the referee Bryce Lawrence.
Mr Lawrence  robbed South Africa of a win. He made errors in his decisions over, over and over again.
Referees have gotten away with their lack of judgements at the cost of good teams.
Referees that make wrong decisions to the point that it costs the team the game, should be penalized, investigated and the game overturned.

Why should I and others not make an assumption that it was a fixed game?!
.
Defending champions South Africa were knocked out of the Rugby World Cup 2011 after Australia came out top in the quarterfinals at Wellington. Picture - Reuters.
As per The Telegraph "Bryce Lawrence reduced breakdown to a farce in Australia's win over South Africa".
The Telegraph also commented the following

"Mr Bryce Lawrence, the son of an official, is rated rather highly by those in charge of the whistle blowers, but  a lot of players and fans have absolutely no idea why he made a complete hash of today's game between Australia and South Africa  and the Springboks will be furious".

I am relieved and thankful  I never went  to New Zealand to watch South Africa play. It would have been a very expensive experience to see my country robbed of a quarter final win.

We South Africans are very proud of our Bokke. Well done Boys!...
You Bryce Lawrence, hope you are investigated and charged.  I am aware it is too late for our Springboks, but worth it to see you be tried in court. I have no idea how you can sleep at night.
I hope Australia loses the next game, as they did not deserve the win over SA.

Is The World Going Crazy?

There is an uproar concerning Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi,  famous for bombing a Pan Am airliner killing 270 people . He acted on instructions from Gadafiis, is in and out of a coma in Tripoli, and wait for this, his house was ransacked and his cancer medication was stolen. How evil?
This is the same man that killed 270 people . Was that humanitarian?!.. Could it be Karma?!..

None other than evil Seif, Gaddafi’s son.
He was released for compassionate reasons, due to his ill health, with no consideration for the feelings of the families of the plane victims, who he murdered cold bloodedly without a second thought.
When he was released from a Scottish prison, who was waiting to welcome him back home in Libya? He did not just welcome Abdelbaset al-Megrahi, he gave the bomber (wait for this) a hero's welcome.
Mr Abdelbaset al-DoesMegrahi - does he look remorseful?
Please help me to understand this. He killed 270 innocent people and he is a hero?!..
The family are now up in arms, “Shame, he lies in a coma in Tripoli and he is being treated  in his family's Palatial Villa and is close to death. And since his prodigy father Mahomma Gadhafi  was removed  from his throne nobody cares for the Bomber. Why should anyone care?!...

Let me break this down into sections
He is not being treated by doctors.
He is getting better treatment then the poor “rebels” that have been victims of Gadaffi’s forces.
He lies in a room of his family’s’ Palatial Villa.
Where are the 270 innocent people he killed?  They are either under the ground or turned to ashes.

Does he deserve sympathy?
So why, Mr Khaled al-Megrahi, should we sympathise or give a damn?
Where are the poor “rebels” being treated?  Not in a Palatial Villa, that is for sure.
Since Gadaffi’s removal from Government, no one is assisting the family.
Where is Saif?  Saif claims he is well and safe, so why does he not help his hero?!..
Tell you why, he cannot even help himself. He is a wanted man by the humanitarian courts.
Mr Khaled al-Megrahi here is some advice.
Do not promote your father as a good man.
You will get a better response if you condone his actions.
Apologise to the families of those your father so calculatingly killed.
Any reason why anybody that has morals or respect for life have any sympathy for your father or his family?
Does any of Ali Mohmet al-Megrahi family know the meaning of Karma Law?. It means karma is the inevitable effect of all actions during life. Need I say more?
How does it feel seeing a family member dying? Now imagine, if you can, how the families of the 270 people that your family  member killed.
I wish him what he deserves.
